Monday 30th Sept (tomorrow) will be a canoe polo introductory training session for intermediate players or paddlers new to polo. Cost £6 including everything except swimmers, wetshoes & towel. We will have experienced players on hand to spend about 1/2 hour showing you the ropes – polo boat control, passing, shooting, rolling (hand & paddle – nose clips & goggles optional :- )
We will then play some games. As it's a lot to fit into the hour, I will do a briefing at 7:30pm upstairs in the coffee lounge area. This intro to polo will cover the game's general rules & how we play them in the 25m Priory pool (sneak preview here).
Please let me know if you wish to attend the briefing, or just the pool session, so we have an idea of numbers & can start quickly – pool time is limited & we want to make the most of it.
We have the pool EVERY Monday 8-9pm until 23 December, including half-term. I want to alternate these training sessions with full-on-game nights, but I also have a number of other clubs that want to join in the fun, so I'll publish a timetable presently.

PS: Note for the A-team/trainers – there'sll be no pool fee if you just want to come along & teach or ref – or just provide moral support 🙂
PPS: B-teamers I'd expect to be practising & leading the games.
