  1. Hi Penny

Your welcome to come along to the Saturaday morning session (9.30 start). This is the main family session that we have during the week. If you have never tried it before or just wanting to improve kayaking skills. Saturday sessions normally split into a couple of groups, beginners, Proficient paddlers, People who want to do marathon distances (4 mile+) and the polo team (those that like getting wet).

All that your required to bring is a change of clothes just in case someone tries swimming instead of kayaking! We have boats, paddles and boyancy aids for all ability’s.

    Hope to see you soon

  2. Hello,
I am looking at clubs I could possibly get involved in and have a little kayaking experience but would love to get it going again.
I am just wondering a couple of things about joining, is the £45 annual membership, and does that then include equipment usage? I have friends I could borrow equipment from but none of my own.
Also do you run year round or just in the summer? And when do the sessions run?

  3. Hi Juliette,
Sorry for the delay in replying but our website is under redevelopment.
Please come along on a Saturday morning at 9 to meet the coaches
we have a safety brief at 9.15 and aim to be on the water for 9.30 – approx 12
Currently the annual membership fee is £80 for a family
    £45 for adult
£10 for students over the age of 16 in full time education
    £35 for children
This covers saturday morning instruction, the use of boats and buoyancy aids, and shower should you want one after the session.
We have Saturday morning session all year round the only exception is if the canal is frozen or all the coaches are away.
    Kind regards
    Sara
